There is a moment — subtle, quiet — when a hand hovers gently above the soft fur of an animal… and something ancient remembers.

There is a moment — subtle, quiet — when a hand hovers gently above the soft fur of an animal… and something ancient remembers.

Animals, unlike humans, do not doubt energy. They feel it, receive it, trust it. Reiki, the universal life force that flows through all living beings, becomes with them not a technique, but a silent language of love.

I have seen eyes soften, tails gently wag, and hearts open — not because I “did” something, but because I became something: a vessel. A presence. A witness to healing that already exists within them.

Reiki with animals requires deep humility.
It invites us to slow down, to listen without words, to honour the natural intelligence of their bodies and spirits.
Sometimes the healing is physical: a pain eased, a restlessness calmed.
Other times, it’s emotional: an animal who begins to trust again, to open, to return to their original grace.

But always, it is sacred.

Whether you are sharing Reiki with a beloved companion or a rescued soul carrying trauma, remember:
It is not your hands that heal.
It is your presence that allows healing to unfold.

Animals teach us to come home to this presence — and Reiki gives us the way.

Let your heart lead. Let your energy listen. And always, let love be the bridge.
